Had Safelite replace windshield in our 2007 Suburban. Chose Safelite because they are a nationwide business. Was assured the replacement would be comparable to the manufacturer windshield. Not even close! Would not recommend this company! Very expensive! The sunshine comes through this cheap glass and makes the vehicle very hot!

I had a cracked windshield. I took it to the Hookset, NH shop. My truck was done in 20 minutes, great! On the way home the windshield slid down about an inch and all I heard was wind noise. The adhesive didn't have enough time to dry and they hadn't taped it up. I brought it back and they pushed the windshield up and taped it. Since then, I have brought it back 5X to either re-install the windshield or trouble shoot why my carpeting is wet... Read more

Worst company for auto glass. Dont do business with them. Many customers including myself had a small chip on the windshield. They said they coyld repair it. They shattered the entire windshield. Of course. More money .rip off

I took my custom '94 Chev c1500 from the paint shop to Safelite to diagnose a leak in a windshield that they had recently replaced. They banged and drug a tool cart or something down the passenger side chipping the paint and leaving surface scratches. When I brought it to their attention they denied it and refused to take responsibility. They also failed to fix the leak.

I recently went to have a dime-sized divot in my windshield repaired. At the end of 45 minutes it was worse. They were not only unapologetic, they were downright nasty both at the shop and when I called their so-called "executive service." They told me the best they could do is apply the $50 I paid for repair toward the cost of a new windshield. My car is fairly new and has all kinds of factory installed equipment attached to the windshield... Read more

The technician called me to meet him at my home, so I left work. He showed up and said he couldn't replace the window because of a couple of small rust spots. I live in Michigan and that is common. The company and tech never asked me about this before wasting my time, and never gave me any other options. The technician proceeded to take images inside my garage without my permission. Totally bad service. He argued with me the entire time. I have... Read more

I typically do not leave reviews. After reading the previous review, I felt more than compelled to counter that review. First off I have been a Safelite AutoGlass for over 10 years. Believe me if this or any service company would have treated me as the previous reviewer I would not have a 10 year (verifiable) period of service! The service staff is diligent and extremely well versed with their product and application. The latest service... Read more
