Poor Driving

Safelite Autoglass - Poor Driving
Driver #20513 held traffic sometimes up to 8 cars back because he would not move out of the left lane. He stayed there forcing everyone to try and get around on the right for over 20 miles on east bound 175 about 6:45 pm on Monday June 15, 2020

Terrible service/ lack of organization

Made an appointment to have a window replaced, took the day off of work to be available in the window I was given, only to have nobody show up. When I spoke to the manager she said "I really dropped the ball". After nearly an hour she agreed to send someone out the next day. They showed up this time, but left after a few minutes because they had the wrong glass. When I demanded we reschedule YET AGAIN the same manager told me I would need to wait another 3 days. I explained that we would have to change the location and was told that didn't work. Not wanting to cancel my sons birthday party I insisted she find a way to replace the glass where we were hosting the party. She agreed and gave a window of 12-5. When I hadn't heard anything more I called to confirm on that day...I was assured that someone would be out between 1-4. At 330 in the afternoon that same day I recieved a text saying my appointment was cancelled. It is ludicrous that an office would be so poorly run that they keep "dropping the ball" on the same customer over and over again with no solutions.

Unable to fix windshield

I have a 2020 Honda Pilot so need a fancy windshield. I got a big crack in it and had it replaced on July 15. 2 weeks later it started splitting from the side. They claim to see tiny stress marks and will not repair it. I think the integrity of with windshield had to play a part! Its a $1000 windshield!! I did go through insurance but was still $500 deductible and not sure if I can or should make another claim. Also they told me only ONE company makes the windshield I need! I have had a lot of debris hit various windshields and never had them crack. To happen 2 weeks after a new windshield is ridiculous!! I have already received suggestions of where to go now and heard other negative complaints about Safelite I will never use Safelite again.

Cracked windshield

I do not have a complaint. A few days ago I spoke to someone and I have tried calling today because I have questions concerning the windshield. I have an Outback with eyesight.

My daughter took her car in to have the windshield replaced which they did but did not calibrate it. She picked it up not knowing this. They called her and scheduled her to come back.. she did but the tech wasnt there.. she had to return the next day. When they were finished she came out and noticed the yellow on the right front fascia and under the front valance. Shes a young girl and wasnt sure what to do.. she came home where I took pictures and sent to Amber ( who was awesome) . She had Larry the manager call me.. my daughter talked to him and set up a day to come out (2 days after) The manager Larry was more than rude to me and my daughter...he took pictures of where he told my daughter to try and line it up but my daughter took pictures of where it actually happened and you can see it on the curb and her car!!! Theyre denying it and wont take responsibility!!! Dont go there!!!! Thought they were reputable but I guess not!

The worst customer service I have ever received! They scheduled me a appointment for 8:00 this morning I get there they are closed. I cant get anyone on the phone its just says call back during business hours. I have text messages from the last 2 days confirming my appointment! Spoke to someone in chat they couldnt even get a hold of anyone to help me. Drove all the way there with my window smashed out just to have to drive all the way back home. Wasted a hour and a half of my day. But on a positive note I got someone else that is coming out to my location to change the window and the price is a hundred dollars less. They have already emailed my warranty to me. I will never recommend Safelite to anyone!!!!!

Terrible service

I ordered a windshield replacement and specifically asked for a Oem molding and was told they would let the technician know. The day of appointment I was called by the technician and told the do not have the moulding I requested at time of appointment and I need to reschedule. The manager Todd told me I would need to wait till they get the moulding and when I followed up to call him he told me he was busy doing other things instead .called me after 4:30 which is cutoff time till next day to tell me I had to wait till the next day for him to order it. I also asked him if I wanted to cancel would I get my money right away. He said yes. the appointment was cancelled and the company has it in their recorded message as completed. first. Misrepresented the item I needed to have and specifically asked for prior to appointment. second manager who cares more about his current case load instead of following up to get the info . Third the company charge me and even if I get my money which who knows when that is I am supposedly paying the tax and other fees fir a non service. I want resolution from this bull s... If this is how safelight manages returning customers then I will never use your company again . Furthermore when I spoke with Todd the service manager and told him I asked about this at the time of appointment he answer was .... Well I don't know who u spoke with I was not there .Not even trying to help simply did not care.

Damage

I'm am visiting my Mom in New Roads,Louisiana. I asked her what happened to her back porch. She tells me that Safe Lite came and fixed her windshield and the technician backed into the support beam of her back porch damaging the porch support and gave her a number to call to have the porch repaired. They have not answered the phone for over a year. My Mother is retired and on a fixed income and this company damaged her house and have avoided her for over a year. Terrible customer service integrity will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau as well. My email is bhughe8@***.com if anyone from safe light wants to do what's rite by my mom.

I recently had my windshield replaced however, I noticed once the job was complete, window sealant was all over my seats in my vehicle. I’m very disappointed because I have not been able to clean up the mess left behind. In addition, my drive way was also left dirty.

I was told in order to make any appointments I must pre pay .At the time of the appointment I asked specifically to have an OEM molding for my vehicle I was not told about any other wait time .TODD the service manager at Addition il phone number 630-543-**** called me to say the part is not available they need to order it.I explain to him I asked for this prior to my appointment .His response was I don't whom you were talking to.

The next day I give the office my Vin number so the part can be ordered and follow up with TODD BullshitBullshitBullshit .He tells me at about two o'clock he has been busy with other cars and could not get to my prepaid order because of being busy .He calls again after 4:30 to tell me the part can't be ordered until the next business day because 4:30 is the cutoff time .The respect level was very very ridiculous . The representation of safe light has caused me to NEVER use your company and if a paying customer has to wait based on case l load of a busy shop why make the appointment in the first place .TODD had no regard for my necesscity to fix my glass .Mainly because you had my money and did not make me priority to get dealt with on a first come first serve basis .your company should screen people closer you have working because he does not reflect well on the company's character .Former safelight customer regretfully signing off .
