Safelite Autoglass - Chipped console by the dashboard
The Safelight technician that replaced my windshield damaged the dashboard. Several calls later, pictures taken by a technician, also called adjuster.
Same afternoon I was to receive a call from the store manager. Three days went by and no call so I called the Warranty Department who called the store manager that said his technicians could have not have damaged the dashboard. OMG! The technician had to replace the rearview mirror that is mounted inside the inside the car.
They seem to think, ignore the problem it will go away, no calls from anyone. Now the manager wants me to drive to their shop, an hour away so he can look at the damage. If he would have been the one to take the pictures in the first place, instead of his technician, he would have seen the damage.
Very disappointed in Safelight, they take no responsibility for their actions. Will definitely not use their services again.
Reason of review: No responsibility for damage.
Monetary Loss: $800.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
