Billing error by Safelite Autoglass

Windshield repair in time and ok - no issue with the installation. The billing error - dated February 9th, 8 month ago - Satellite billing me the full amount and not the insurance deductible has not been corrected until today.

Two personal visits to the shop and <4 phone calls from Geico, Satellite service and myself did not result in a correction. Promised phone calls from the shop that executed the repair are not happening.

The Covington Pike Safelite Store in Memphis is literally the most incompetent operation that I have ever encountered. In general, Safelite is a horrible company, with theor absurd customer service, poor workmanship, infuriating phone system that makes it impossible to talk to a live person, but the Memphis Covington Pike store takea the incompetence to the next level.

I had to have my windshield replaced twice due to incorrect installation, then they scratched the top of my vehicle during the second installation, then a few months later the trim pieces flew off my vehicle while driving down the interstate.

After taking the vehicle back to the shop, they indicated that they would order new parts and then contact me for an appt., after about a week I called and they had no record of this interaction at all.
Please avoid Safelite, if your insurance is paying, you can take the vehicle to
the dealership and get it done right. Safelite is an absolute disaster.

Water Damage and Mold Due to Improper Insulation.
Dear Autoglass Customer Service,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the service from your Raleigh, NC location on Meridien Dr. After having my windshield replaced in my 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4, your team failed to properly seal the windshield, resulting in water damage to my electronics and mold/mildew growth under the carpet.
Despite my repeated efforts to address this issue with Jeffrey Hall, Mark Bjork, and Mary over the past 5 months, nothing has been resolved. I have obtained estimates for the repairs, but your team has been unresponsive and unhelpful.
I request that you take immediate action to:
Accept responsibility for the damage caused by your team's negligence and address the water and mold/mildew damage.

The experience with the mgr at the store was horrendous. The customer service rep tried to repair the damage by the manager. I have another appointment (3rd) to try to have the windshield installed, so I will reserve final comment until after appointment on 9/11/24 @ 11:30.

The person that called to cancel my appointment was polite. She told me someone would contact me to reschedule and discuss options on my windshield. I had asked about Gorilla glass. No one contacted me and your system prevented me from speaking with a live person. So frustrating and I wasted 45 minutes trying to reschedule. I called another company, was able to get answers regarding gorilla glass and got scheduled without issue. The price is less than safelight quoted.
