Safelite Autoglass - Safelite is so crooked
8 comments
I worked at Safelite for 5 months. It was just part time and I needed fulltime but I took it to make ends meet.
After 30 days they automatically enroll you in there 401k plan which I thought was ok until I found a full time job and resigned. When I wanted to cash out of the plan they then informed there would be a 75 dollar fee,I only had 91 dollars in the plan and I knew that it would be taxed.
I was never told of any fee when I was enrolled or I would have opted out. Safelite is stealing from every employee that wants there money when they leave.

Chill, out on him yโall heโs a youngster
Maybe the reason you have such a hard time holding down a job is due to your ignorance.... This is standard practice for a 401k, bet you didn't even bother looking in to rolling it over to another retirement plan.....
get real dude. :roll
Hey, genius, it's Wells Fargo that charged you the fee, not Safelite. Yes, Safelite generally treats their employees horribly.
No doubt.
But you could have opted-out to begin with. This one's on you.
Keep the 401k and continue to contribute. You'll appreciate it later when you are older.
Yeah..that's standard for 401k plans. I've been with my company 10 years now, and would have a fee. That's not a Safelite rule.....sorry.
its most 401k plans not the companys, sucks but cant change it :p
your silly :) that's not the company that's standard when you go to cash out on a 401k, its just the way it works sorry :(
:roll you might want to check with or blame the 401K provider and servicer :roll The companies dont charge any fees
