Called saflite auto glass 1 month before car show and now its time for car show and no windsheild. First the tech called and left a message that here was almost here and I was at work, no one let me know he was coming.

then they said its $100 for shipping thats fine but I had to call then to remind them to call my insurance to get it and never did. next I took a 1/2 off work for the tech to come and "oh we need new clips". What older car like this dont have molding clips? So a week later I had to call them to ask when is this going to happen?

they said they had to go down the street to get the clips. One week later?

Now they have to order them. So today the tech shows up (the day before care show) and they got the wrong clips.

Its been 1 month and they missed my deadline how aret they still in business?

Monetary Loss: $1.

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

We found Safelite to be quite reputable. Called in a.m.

and they were here by noon same day with exceptional service.

We had two cars with issues and they were very up front and expedited our repair. Sad you had such a negative experience but could it have been in part due to your communications?

The post below (from 7/6) has been reported. It was a fraudulent post and we have asked to have it removed. We take great pride in our work and will do whatever we can to rectify a situation where we did not delight a customer in their initial service experience.

You guys are the *** of the Earth! Why dont you just use a local guy instead of hiring us.

Its obvious we suck at doing our jobs and dont take pride in our work and provide shoddy workmanship lol. Shame on you but sometimes the cheapest is the most expensive.

What you should do is know your vehicle a little better. If you show it then you would certainly know it needed clips.

Start using the 7 p's in your life and you wont fail yourself so much. Proper prior planning prevents *** poor performance. SAFELITE installs windshields... they don't perform bodywork or supply parts for your vehicle besides the windshield, glue, primers, activators, or flexible moldings unless you tell them ahead of time you need clips.

If your not happy with Safelite... good luck with the Ma and Pa store with no guarantee or warranty. Took over a month??? Come on!

That Tech's manager is not going to let that happen in a million years unless there was reasons your not speaking of!!! Cheerio!
